Lingvent Design at a glance

Lingvent Design — what we do

What we make
Custom soft PVC keychains, luggage tags, fridge magnets, 3D figures, mascots, USB drive casings, and food-grade silicone wristbands and kitchenware.
Who we make it for
Brand owners, promotional product distributors, souvenir and museum retailers, sports clubs, and houseware private-label programmes in more than 50 countries.
What we do not do
We do not manufacture leather, wood, ceramic or glass promotional goods, and we are not a general trading company — our focus is soft PVC and silicone.
How a project starts
Send artwork, a sketch or a photograph. We build a free 3D model, quote the mould and unit price, and produce a physical sample before tooling.

Three reasons projects land on time

1

Free 3D modelling

Every job is modelled in 3D before a mould is cut. You approve a digital mock-up — with colour call-outs and dimensions — so there are no surprises at the sampling stage.

2

In-house moulding

Steel and aluminium moulds are made on site. That means faster tooling changes, tighter control over wall thickness, and a mould charge that is paid once, not on every reorder.

3

Export-grade QC

Incoming material checks, in-process inspection and a final AQL inspection before packing. Test documentation for REACH, RoHS and EN71 can be supplied on request.

Recent custom work

Case study: five moulds, one finished keyring

A flat shape is only the starting point. This project combines a moulded soft casing with sculpted and printed components, all colour-matched and assembled into a single retail-ready item — the kind of multi-part job our in-house tooling makes practical at 100 pieces and up.

Custom multi-part soft casing set: a camera-shaped moulded keyring supplied with a sculpted character charm, two round moulded badges and a raised-letter strap
Every component is its own mould, colour-matched across the set and packed as one retail-ready item.

What went into the set

  • Moulded soft casing shaped as a camera, with a two-tone lens and sculpted body details such as the shutter and flash
  • Sculpted character charm, built in 3D from licensed character artwork
  • Two round moulded badges with fine line-work in a contrasting fill colour
  • Raised-letter strap: 3D text moulded directly into the rubber, not printed on
  • Metal split ring and spring clip, assembled as one finished product

Design & tooling

Engineering you can see

Before a single mould is cut, every project is modelled and dimensioned. These drawings are real examples of our design output — front, back, side and open views with colour call-outs and tolerances.

Materials

Soft PVC or silicone — which one fits your project?

Both are elastic, both reproduce fine detail, and both take colour well. The differences that matter are food contact, heat resistance, weight and unit cost.

From artwork to shipment in six steps

A typical custom soft PVC or silicone project runs 3–6 weeks from first contact to departure, including sampling.

1

Brief and artwork

Send any of: a vector logo, a sketch, a photograph of an existing product, a CAD file, or a written description. Tell us the quantity, the colours and the deadline. We confirm feasibility and flag anything that will not mould cleanly — usually within one working day.

2

Free 3D modelling

Our designers build a 3D model of your part and send you multi-view renders with dimensions and colour call-outs. Revisions are free at this stage. This is the step that prevents expensive surprises, so we do not rush it.

3

Quotation

You receive a written quotation covering the one-off mould charge, the unit price at your quantity, the tooling lead time and the production lead time. Incoterms (FOB, CIF or DDP) are stated explicitly.

4

Pre-production sample

A physical sample is produced from a soft tool or the production mould, typically in 5–7 days. We photograph it, measure it against the drawing, and ship it to you for sign-off before mass production starts.

5

Mass production

Production runs 12–30 days after artwork approval, depending on quantity and finishing. Work in progress is inspected in-process rather than only at the end, so deviations are caught while they can still be corrected.

6

QC, packing and shipping

A final AQL inspection checks colour, dimensions, print registration, attachment strength and packing. Cartons are labelled and shipped by sea, air or courier. Export documents for your customs broker are issued in the same week.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order quantity for custom PVC or silicone products?

100 pieces per design. Several designs or colourways of the same shape and thickness can be combined into one production run to reach that minimum, and gift-set assemblies can mix several items in one carton.

How much does a custom PVC keychain or silicone part cost?

Unit price depends on shape complexity, finished size, number of colours, thickness and quantity. As a working guide, flat PVC items at 1,000–5,000 pieces sit in a low unit price band, while thick 3D silicone parts cost more per piece because of material volume and cycle time. Send a shape, a size and a quantity and you will receive a written price within one working day.

Is there a mould or tooling charge?

Yes, mould making is a one-off charge quoted per design, and it is quoted separately from the unit price. The mould charge is paid once. Reorders of the same design, in the same size and material, carry no further mould charge. Where a project cannot proceed, the artwork is never used for another customer.

Who owns the mould?

Moulds are built exclusively around your artwork. Once the one-off mould charge is paid, that tooling is reserved for your design: it is not used to produce parts for other customers, and it is not resold.

How long does it take to get a sample?

A pre-production sample is typically ready in 5–7 days after artwork approval. We photograph it against a ruler and ship it to you for sign-off before mass production begins.

What is the production lead time?

12–30 days after artwork approval, depending on quantity and finishing. Hand-painted 3D figures and dual-colour or glow silicone sit at the longer end of that range.
